The Judgment of Sin

Following the destruction of Jerusalem and the deportation of the Jews to Babylon (among which many Edomites also were carried), some of the remnant of Edom stood on the temple mount and drank a toast to the destruction of Israel. As we saw last week, this is a serious thing. For to attack a Christian is to attack God!

Yet this seemingly insignificant act was and is emblematic of every pagan before God- who arrogantly exalt themselves above God!
