Suffering for Doing Right

In the Roman world of NT times, slaves who were Christians were commanded by the apostle Peter to be subject to their masters, even if they were unjust. In like manner Christians of all times are sometimes called to suffer unfairly. We should work at our jobs with all diligence, be subject to our employers, and do good - even when we're not appreciated or treated unkindly. Ultimately, we are serving Christ and not man.
