I Can't, But I Had Better

720

In this message, Dr. John Whitcomb shows how the gospel first went to the Gentiles by means of a less than willing messenger – the Apostle Peter. He was the disciple of Christ who still had so much to learn even after spending three-and-a-half years with Christ and then preaching the sermon on the Day of Pentecost. Dr. Whitcomb explains how this incident involving Peter, Simon and Cornelius ties in to the beginning of the new dispensation of the church age. In this chapter we see the conversion of a Gentile who did not need to first become a Jew – but could be completely accepted as a Gentile member of the Body of Christ, just as many of us are today. Though common to our experience, this situation was by no means taken for granted at the time of Acts 10. We hope you enjoy this insightful message.
