The Present Kingdom of God

God is a great king and as such, rules over all his creation in many ways that most of us take for granted and never give to it serious thought. The great King made an "if-then" promise to Israel. Israel pledged to keep his words and do them, but they did not. As a result, the promise made to them is made to the Lord's church in the New Testament. The great King revealed to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon what would come to pass hereafter by a dream - and that dream and its interpretation is recorded in Holy Scripture.

In the days of these kings (of the 5th kingdom) shall a stone that is cut out of a mountain without hands smite the fragmented kingdom, and the stone will become a mountain filling the whole earth. This is the coming of Christ with his saints to subdue all the nations of this present world.
