Teach Me, O Lord!

This Psalms celebrates the gift of God’s Law; Specifically, the Torah, or first 5 books. It belongs with other psalms such as Psalms 19, 1 and 112. The author displays a longing and yearning for the law of God yet recognizes his own shortcomings and failures. It displays God as the one who abounds in steadfast love and faithfulness and therefore is able to: forgive sins when they are confessed, loves His people without limits and guides the faithful in the way of life that is genuinely good and beautiful.
