Can A Demon Tell The Truth

A demoniac is someone afflicted with an evil spirit. Most people who claim to have psychic powers are only frauds. However, there are some people who speak with demons. These demons have been around for thousands of years and know about family and other historical events. We are not speak with or have anything to do with demons. The girl in this story in Acts, was very spiritual, however she had a demon. The devil will tell the truth when he can deceive people. Satan will tell the truth in order to deceive. This demon was confusing the truth with lies by using this girl to speak the truth. The girl discredited the truth of the gospel due to her known occupation. As with other demon possessed people, this girl was restless and shouting (noisy). Demonic worship is very much a part of our culture today. Even a song that may be theologically acceptable can be performed in a way that is not honoring to God. Satan will often say something true and mix it with lies. When the devil lies, he speaks his native language. Demons can tell the truth in a dishonest way. We are not to be afraid of demons, we should regard them as poisonous snakes. We are to be sold out to Jesus.
