This psalm expresses the longing of believer's for Christ and his appointments.

1. Longing for the ordinances of the Lord v1-8. The importance of choosing God's own ordinances and the kind of regard we should have for them.

2. Contentment with our place among the Lord's people v9-12. Striving together for the faith of the gospel as one body under Christ.
