The LBCF of 1689 - Ch 8, Para 2, Part 3

Paragraph 8.2 of our confession describes the God-Man Jesus Christ as the perfect union of two distinct natures in one Person, irrevocably and permanently joined at the incarnation of the Son of God. We consider the virgin birth of Jesus of Nazareth, then address several objections to this fundamental doctrine, and finally examine the confessional statement: “…so that two whole, perfect, and distinct natures were inseparably joined together in one person, without conversion, composition, or confusion…”
