Jesus trained his disciples to go two-by-two, publicly and house to house with a bold message of repentance and faith. Jesus commanded the church to go and make disciples. The early church went out two-by-two, publicly and house to house (Paul & Barnabas, Paul and Silas, Paul and Timothy, Barnabas and John Mark), boldly proclaiming repentance and faith in Christ as necessary for salvation.
