Our New Identity

When a person is saved, they will be different. They will look different. Their old life that they had to serve before salvation, now should not be what a believer serves. They have a responsibility with God's help to put off the old life, and put on living that reflects Christ. This is accompanied by a change of thinking. The end of chapter 4 is filled with multiple illustrations of what it looks like to put on, put off, and renewed thinking.
