Abide in Christ

What will matter most when your life ends? Jesus teaches us that fruitfulness to the glory of God is the most important goal in our lives (John 15:8). He also teaches that we can be fruitful as we abide in Him (John 15:5). And He tells us specifically how we can abide in Him.

When our lives seem hard and we feel like we are drying up, we are inclined to think that what we need most is a change in circumstances, or for other people to do a better job of meeting our needs. Again Jesus tells us that what we need in order to be joyful in all circumstances is to abide in Him (John 15:11).
