Learning from Your Godly Father

And now, this afternoon, I want to open up these further truths which will show us how we can learn from our godly father. 1st of all, You can learn from him by seeking to obtain from the Lord a double portion of your father’s spirit. And 2nd – By picking up the mantle of your spiritual father, the mantle which he leaves to you. In each of these points I am giving you, I trust that the Holy Spirit will give you understanding of what it might mean for you to have a spiritual “father”, and what it will mean for you to learn from his life, the great lessons which the Lord would teach you.
