Effective tools are very widely used. In our world, some of the most widely used things are some of the most insignificant, yet effective, instruments. For example, the safety pin. It is so simple, yet the man that invented it profited immensely, plus they're everywhere. The same idea goes toward the nail, the staple, and even the paper clip; all effective, simple, devices that are made to accomplish a service. That is what God is looking for in the Church.
