You Cannot See

"f you are not born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. Today's sermon helped us understand what it means to be born again. While Pastor defined four key characteristics that define the kingdom of Heaven, one of the main characteristics is that the kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. In verse three, Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again; however, Jesus never extended an invitation for Nicodemus to trust Him as Savior and instructing him to be baptized. Jesus did not ask Nicodemus to do anything. Pointing to Cain and Abel and Seth, we see a perfect example of the difference of the elect and non-elect. One of the key things Nicodemus missed from his study of Genesis 1:21 is that everything produces after its kind - a main emphasis of today's sermon is that KIND PRODUCES KIND. As in Psalm 45, that which is born of the flesh IS flesh; that which is born of the spirit IS spirit.
