Jesus is different than any Old COvenant priest because Jesus is the Son of God. He is described as "begotten" but that doesn't mean "created." He is not a priest like Aaron, but rather a priest like Melchizedek. He remains a priest forever; made the one time sufficient sacrifice for his people, and always lives to make intercession for them.
