A Sweet Exchange
Series Series in Song of Solomon
In Song of Solomon 1:7-2:7 there is a beautiful insight into the interaction between Solomon and the Shulamite. This “Sweet Exchange” presents to us something of the ideal marriage relationship—one that is developing, progressing, and in which the different components of love are in balance. But this “Sweet Exchange” also challenges us in our relationship with our Saviour and forces us to a spiritual reality check—is my relationship with Christ developing and progressing or it is static and stale?
