The Crown of Righteousness (Part 2)

God has laid up this reward for every person who has walked in the righteousness in which Jesus demonstrated in their lives. We in turn will be able to praise Him with His own righteousness by laying these crowns at His feet. The manner in which Paul 'ran the race' was to give himself to everything God wanted to do in his life. When Paul says he kept the faith he was expressing the totality of his salvation and beliefs. He was guarding and preserving his witness regardless of his circumstances.
