The Influence of Fathers

To have influence over someone, it generally takes time. A father is influential for good or ill. Paul writes to Timothy expressing how the young man can and should have influence over the people in his congregation. Paul tells Timothy to respond, reflect, repeat the things he has heard in the Gospel message. One question all Christians and especially fathers should ask themselves is whether or not we are thoroughly satisfied with God. If so, that will influence others to God's glory.
