Consensual Sin Is Still Sin!

What is a crooked cop? Well, it’s a law enforcement officer who agrees to turn a blind eye to crime for the sake of his job, monetary kickbacks, or even his life. In other words, rather than take the risk of offending influential criminal elements, he aids and abets them, often for significant financial gain.

A crooked Christian is someone who consents to sin, rather than refusing to have anything do with it. Our culture tells us that consent makes lust okay -- that sleeping with your girlfriend is not wrong as long as she's okay with it. The moral requirements of the Kingdom, though, demand that even sins like fornication and euthanasia be regarded as sins, even though they have their victims' consent. Don't be a crooked Christian. Don't consent to evil or practice it yourself.

Instead, trust in Jesus. By His life, death, and resurrection He made it possible for you to stop being a crooked Christian and start living a righteous, holy life.
