What is the nature of the kingdom of God? When we pray "Thy Kingdom Come" what are we praying for? There have been many misunderstandings about the kingdom of God. John the Baptist seemed confused about the nature of it. Many Jews, including the disciples, were confused about it. Many today are confused. In what sense is the kingdom of God already here and in what sense is it something yet to come?
