There's a warning here: whatever nation, through out history, comes and occupies Israel, the Lord's land, will be judged harshly. God will deal harshly with the enemies of Israel. Today there is more anti-Semitism in the world, even worse than before. The prophecy here was written 800 years before Christ. God gave the Jews the land of Israel. They are the only people on this earth that have a deed to any land. Palestine didn't exist when Israel came about. Does God really mean what He says here? Will He really take retribution on nations who are enemies of Israel? You bet. The Babylonians fought Israel in 600 B.C. and look what happened: Babylonia is no more, it's just ruins. Persia – 500-300 B.C. – currently in ruins, listed only in history books. Greece: today its economy is in total ruins, and there is rioting in the streets. The great empire on Greece is gone, and the remnants are in ruins. Rome – ruins today – used to cover most of the country. Byzantine Empire: gone, history books only, it doesn't even exist today. Muslims: if they're not fighting the Jews they're fighting each other. They are not a nation, but they are a political group that uses religion in a twisted sick way.
