Practical Admonitions Against Complacency and Arrogance
Since secular ethics has been as unsuccessful as it has been unwilling in establishing a standard of Ethical absolutes, the world has been subjected to its tyranny of polytheistic relativity.
What was once ethically acceptable has now been re-defined, re-categorized and re-structured in order to satisfy the intensifying degradation of conscience and the downward spiral of behavior.
The Christian community of our modern and postmodern age has experienced its own catastrophic disregard for ethical diligence in matters of the culture so that the check upon this downward plunge has been almost non existent. Where it has been evident, it has made little progress since most of those efforts have been compartmentalized into one or another segment of the society.
This lecture examines two problems which the Christian community needs to be overcome if it is to ever realize its full potential as an instrument of Christ's Victory and Glory; Complacency and Arrogance.
