5. Jesus Feeds the Multitude

The fourth sign in the series - feeding the 5,000 men.
So they said to Him, 'what then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe you? What work do You perform'? Having refused to 'see' the sign they turn the blame for their unbelief back onto Jesus. The illusion of seeking signs is seen here. Whatever God does it will not be big enough if our hearts are disinterested in grace.
