Do You Know Him?

30

The paradox of this text is that in the very next few verses, immersed within the ignorance of Who Jesus is by those that should have known Him in depth and detail, we find the bold proclamation of a “devil” (demon) who has possessed some anonymous sinner; “I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.” What a sad state of affairs the world is in when God has to use a fallen angel/demon to proclaim Who Jesus is to those who profess to be believers and who should have been watching in anticipation for the appearance of their promised Messiah. They should have known Him!
