THE SERVANT'S WORD IN SEASON: AN ENCOURAGEMENT AND A WARNING!

I. The servant's encouragement to the weary

A. Who are these weary (vs. 4) ones to whom He speaks this word?

II. How come that such “walk in darkness and have not light?”

A. because God is standing afar off by keeping Himself hidden … why?

B. because God wisely allows this darkness to make room for the light: He cures more by standing afar off than we realize at first!

III. What is the Servant's answer for such tender souls in darkness?

A. He encourages them to look only to Him for their salvation: 10b
