Dealing with the Storms of Life

Why does God allow pains, troubles, heartaches, and failures in our lives? Some may wonder, 'Wouldn't a loving God give his children a life of relative ease and comfort?' God does not give those He loves what they WANT, but what they NEED, in order to be more like His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Five things to consider in the storm:

1. He brought me here (v 22).
2. He is praying for me (v 23).
3. He comes to me (vv 24-27).
4. He teaches me (vv 28-30).
5. He will see me through (vv 31-34).
