Sinners Sought and Saved

After calling the despised tax collector, Levi, the grateful servant invited Jesus to join him and his friends at his house for a meal. Others are there too, including the religious elite. Naturally, they are offended by him - this time for mixing with sinful people. Jesus confronts the unreasonableness of their complaint by reminding them all that he didn't come to save the sinless but the sinful. We see from scripture there really is no sin too great that God will not save his elect people.
