Paul is sent to the Gentiles but goes back to the Jews because he's self confident, and must learn the hard way that God saves sinners whom He's chosen. He should have known that God's love saves sinners not our love. He still makes it to preach before kings however, because God's love never leaves us at any moment anytime, and He saves sinners appointed by our hands. GO where He sends you, and rely on His love continually.
