As Paul wraps up the letter he prays for the Thessalonians' complete sanctification: spirit, soul and body. This division sparks a bit of conversation whether he is here teaching or assuming that man has three components with a distinct spirit and soul or is just using the expression for emphasis in completeness in sanctification. He also calls for familial greetings in the church.
