So many today want to claim Christ without submitting to Christ and being Obedient. Many want church to be relevant to them yet they would never even consider denying the world the flesh and the Devil. They would never even think of submitting to elders and pastors who are ruling well in the name of Christ.
Most think that church is where you go, sometimes, when you don't have more important things to do.
But Christ paints a different picture of the Call and responsibility of every Christian, starting with himself and then His Apostles. He includes all those disciples and anyone who desires to be a Child of The Most High God.

You will be challenged in this sermon to ask yourself are you a submitted and committed member of a local assembly of blood bought born again believers, or are you just warming a pew waiting for something more important to do.
This is a call to committed church membership and service to God in the assembly that He created, The Church, The Body of Christ in your home town.
Beloved you and I Have a responsibility, and Duty both to Christ and to His Body, The Church. Specifically the Local Church that God has birthed you into, at your conversion. If you do not love the Church that Christ established, and died for, then I would have a hard time believing that you love the Savior who loves His Bride and has called her out of this world and set her apart as a peculiar people, and is conforming her into His image daily.
Jeff Noblit makes it clear that God has birthed you into the church that is full whiners, and warts and weirdo's. And he is right.
If God has birthed you into His body in the local church you have an obligation. to this church
