Jesus, the Captain of Our Salvation

Man's promised inheritance is the world to come. Our Heavenly Father's plan from eternity was to place man as head over all the works of His hands, and this was the promise to Adam. Adam's sin did not turn aside the eternal plan of God, for it was always God's will to overthrow the works of the devil and exalt the Mediator, the Lord Jesus to this preeminence.
