Justification by its very definition denies the possibility of it being a process. The legal basis of Justification is Christ in His obedience and satisfaction.
WCF 11:2 "Faith, thus receiving and resting of Christ and his righteousness, is the alone instrument of justification; yet it is not alone in the person justified, but is ever accompanied by all other saving graces, ans is no dead faith but works by love."
