War in Our Bodies!

The most important war — in comparison with all the great wars in civilization — is the warfare going on between the flesh and the spirit in the life of a believer.

God says, 'Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth' (Psalm 34:14-16).

We sow things into our lives, as we go along in this pilgrim journey of the soul; and it is God's inflexible rule that WHAT WE SOW, WE MUST ALSO REAP!

There is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. Thus it is impossible to ignore this warfare; it is going on. What is your relationship to God and His Word in the midst of this battle?

No doubt, the War in the Gulf will end, but this warfare going on in the human breast will last until Christ returns.
