The Cross: God's Victory

Satan is called the prince of this world. He is the head of the kingdom of darkness, the 'father' the false family which hates the Father and his family, and the ruler of this world system. The one great exorcism which takes place to overthrow him is in the cross. As Jesus is lifted up there, as the atoning sacrifice for sin, so the prince of the world is cast out.
