The evening sermon will be the first of three learning what God says about regeneration in His Word with help from the Canons of Dort. This first sermon on what His Word teaches us about regeneration is from Ezekiel 47.1-11 and we will read Canons of Dort 3/4.11-13. What is regeneration? How many parts of regeneration are there? What is the relationship between regeneration and preaching? Why do we need to learn this? This mini-series from three separate Bible passages will be extremely helpful for us. Invite a friend who attends another church which does not have an evening service to come with you and see how rich is God's Word!

Theme: Regeneration is that work of God making dead to live, usually during preaching

1. The water is the mission of God which carries preaching to the whole world

2. The work of God through preaching causes essential change

3. By this essential change those living dead will really live, and be caught in preaching

4. The work God does is not exactly the same as preaching, for many remain dead
