Some years ago our Pastor Emeritus David M. Atkinson was invited to a church in Canada for the express purpose of preaching this message. Pastor dissects the account of what may have been an eight-hour long service and contrasts it with the pathetic "tastelessness and tedium" with which many professing believers "endure" 75-minute services today.
