Christians in Tribulation

164

Some teachers claim that 1 Thessalonians 5:9 and Revelation 6:17 have caused the church to disengage from the world and accept the changes taking place.

Suffering and tribulation go hand-in-hand. The word tribulation(s) is found 26 times in 25 verses, with 21 of the occurrences in the NT.

The Bible refers to tribulation several times, but great tribulation only twice (Matthew 24:21; Revelation 7:14).

The Apostle Paul refers to tribulation as a way of life for Christians living godly in this world). Romans 5:3-5; Romans 8:35; Romans 12:12-13; 2 Corinthians 1:4; 2 Corinthians 7:4; Ephesians 3:13; 1 Thessalonians 3:4; 2 Thessalonians 1:4
