Dark details

There are times when we get what we want but it turns out it wasn't what we were expecting. Abram wanted the promises of God but without a son he felt he had nothing. God gave Abram a promise of a son but also some dark details that Abram, I am sure, didn't want to hear. That is life though, we must take the bad with the good and just keep trusting God. Satan will do whatever he can to discourage us, but no matter what keep looking to God.
