Taming the Tongue

Through Christ’s shed blood, we’re brothers and sisters in God’s family. We are equally approved, valued and loved by Him. The way we speak about each other reflects whether we accept this God-given equality. “Do not speak evil of one another….” Our Father’s heart is grieved when among His children there are attitudes of superiority and criticism. Satan is a slanderer of God’s people, and we unwittingly do his work with critical, judgmental words about others. In this Sunday message, you’ll be encouraged to let your private words about others build up Christ’s body, not tear at its peace and unity.
