               a.  Unbelievers

               b.  Misguided believers

      3.  The solution:  trust God!

B. A PRAYER FOR KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM [4-5]

      1.  The problem:  not knowing what to do

      2.  The solution:  God’s teaching and leading

C. A PRAYER FOR GOD’S PRESENCE [6-7]

      1.  The problem:  feeling forgotten, alone, cut off

               a.  Sin

               b.  Circumstances

               c.  Enemies

      3.  The solution:  the prayer of faith

                a.  Remember Your eternal sovereign love!

               b.  Remember that You are a forgiving God!
