The Preparation of Prayer (v. 1-9)

When the Lord is working on your heart to receive the gospel, he is also working on the hearts of those whom he would have bring it to you.
Cornelius was a God-fearer (2) - moral, ethical, and spiritual but not saved.

The Preparation of Providence (v. 10-33)

Peter was providentially thinking about food when the heavenly vision with the "unclean" food was offered.
Sometimes God's call on your life may seem much the same. "Lord, how in the world?"
But it's unwise to make a decision as long as the perplexity lasts.
Light was dawning upon Peter that the sheet must represent the church

The Preparation of the Gospel (v. 34-48)

"A God-fearing Gentile" is just as accepted as a "God-fearing Jew" to God.
Immediately, upon believing in their hearts, they received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
