How does understanding the context of Paul's command to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers affect your understanding of it? This is not a call to retreat from the world. The Great Commission still stands! We are to emulate Jesus, the friend of tax collectors, prostitutes, sinners. There is a promise in all of this v. 18 "I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, say the Lord Almighty."
