II. Spirit Filled Communication In Speaking and Hearing

The Spirit filled believer will consciously and purposefully maintain certain attitudes that impact what we say, how we say it, and how we hear what is said to us. These attitudes must be “put on” in the sense of dressing one's self with spiritual clothing. When the Spirit filled believer is filled with the Spirit, that believer puts on attitudes that reflect the character and nature of God. It is a spiritual contradiction to profess spirituality and not manifest the qualities of character that reflect that spirituality.
