Fig leaves or skins?

What are you wearing? Adam and Eve tried (and failed) to cover themselves with fig leaves, but God provided them with clothing made from animal skins. This illustrates the inadequacy of our own attempts to cover up our sin and get to heaven by our own efforts, and points towards God's provision of a robe of righteousness through Jesus' perfect life and death on our behalf.'
