When the Perfect Comes

The purpose of the gift is to equip the body to effectively fulfill its mission to reach people for Jesus, teach believers about Jesus, equip the brethren to serve Jesus and mobilize the missionaries to go with Jesus — in an unending cycle that He may receive acceptable gifts from men, even among the nations of the world (Romans 15:13-20).

And, as it applies to us, so is Ephesians 4:7-16. In Christ, through His body, which is a gift to His body, He distributes the richest of blessings of our sweet inheritance in Him, that we might serve Him together, by serving and building one another up in truth and love.

He chooses who and where for us... because He made and saves us with purpose. Therefore, don't neglect, forfeit or miss out on the beauty and blessings of belonging to Him and His body.
