Hope for the Discouraged #2

When discouragement hits, what becomes of your faith? Is it weakened or strengthened? And if strengthened, do you play any active role?

Last time, Pastor Don Green taught about the reality of discouragement. Spiritual isolation and being surrounded by enemies were recognized as causes. We were reminded that forsaking fellowship with other believers will inevitably hurt the cause of encouragement, especially because the world continues to mock Christians for our faith. Today, our teacher will show us what the Psalmist does to combat his discouragement so that we too might be ready to tackle our own when it arises. So have your Bible open to Psalm 42.
