The Heritage of the Lord

Children are a heritage from the Lord for no child is the product of chance. They are a reward, a gift from God, the reward of a godly house. They are a strength: arrows in the hand of a mighty man.

They are disciples and shall not be ashamed. This is why we baptize them. They are given to our homes and houses to bring up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The success of this depends only upon the Lord. "I baptize with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost." The normal thing is for water baptism to precede the Lord's baptism with the Holy Spirit.
