Fuller, Carey, Booth, Billy Graham

You can't have it both ways.
Salvation is either from God or Man.
Looking at history we can see what happens when man starts compromising their theology. Spurgeon realized the problem of compromise; but he was guilty himself of exalting Andrew Fuller and giving him great endorsements. Where has this compromise brought us today? Today we have Graham and Schuler denying that one does not even have to know Christ to get to heaven. You can't have a man centered philosopy regarding salvation and a God centered philosophy regarding redemption. Spurgeon proclaimed the soeverignty of God in salvation; but he tried to merge arminianism with the sovereignty of God when he started hob nobbing with Andrew Fuller. We cannot make man's will a determiner of salvation.
