Abortion Decision Looms at SCOTUS

3,525

The Bible is clear concerning how God views life from conception. Jeremiah 1:5 says:

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Psalm 139 says:

"If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

Unfortunately the world seemingly ignores these words from the Lord and the result is that the number of abortions continue to escalate daily.

As of 45 minutes before this broadcast started, since the 1973 Roe decision, according to numberofabortions.com there have been 63,864,622 children that have lost their lives through abortion. This number is likely higher due to chemical abortions. That number alone is nearly 20% of the current U.S. population.

Now consider this: Notice how much attention was given to COVID-19 deaths having reached the 1 million mark. Yet how much media attention is given to the children who've died via abortion, a number that is 63 times greater.

This edition of Crosstalk took a look at numerous stories related to the abortion debate as we await word from the U.S. Supreme Court, not only concerning the Mississippi case but also on the future of Roe v. Wade.

These and other concerns may come to mind when you review this important edition of Crosstalk.
