His Steady and Sure Work

While reading in Acts 20 I couldn't help but see the "fix us for it" principle we talk about often. Paul reveals how God (the Holy Spirit) consistently, again and again, from place to place, showed him that he would walk straight into more and more trouble. He didn't ask the Lord to fix it for him, for he was fully aware he needed to be fixed for it. This is why he wasn't moved off the assignment. He didn't count his life dear to himself, needing it to be just so or how he wanted it, he needed the Lord to fix him for the mission and ministry that he could continue to embrace, enjoy and endure through the triumphs and troubles (Acts 20:24)

And he understood that God and the word of His grace was ABLE to fix him for it by building him up and giving him his part (inheritance) among the brethren that were also being sanctified to do their part in the good work of the kingdom (Acts 20:32). This is the internal work of God, in us, to grow us and give us what is needed to fix us for the external work of finding those He came for [and] has sent us out to find. No matter the cost… glory be

Ephesians 4 and 5 ; Romans 12:1-2

Nothing ever accidentally happens with those of the kingdom…

Ephesians chapter 5 tells us that the Gentiles, who are without grace, light and truth have no inheritance or part in the witness, wisdom and work of the kingdom.

Only God and the word of His grace can prepare and build the believers and give them a part of His work.

The unbelievers have no truth, no light and only recognize the darkness. Their thinking is void of truth, they have a darkened understanding and have zero part in the kingdom
